• The money we get in the fundraiser is only a small part of the donations we receive. The donations in time spent on edits and managing the wikis are far more valuable. Beware of making the volunteers feel like the money is the important thing.
• The WikiMedia Foundation is a non-profit set up for charitable ends. Providing content to readers is it's function. Helping editors is the means to that end. The WMF is not here to serve the editors. It is here to serve the Readers.
