We are happy to announce that we will be hosting a Training of Trainers Post-Conference fringe event after the Wikimedia Summit The Community Development and Learning and Evaluation teams at the Wikimedia Foundation will organize a post-conference training for movement organizers who are interested in leading their own events within the Wikimedia movement. The selection process is based on the criteria described in the section below. The selection process will end when all the slots are full; participants are selected on a first come, first served basis, so the sooner you register, the better chances you have of participating in the training. Qualification of all criteria does not guarantee participation. Should demand be less than expected, restrictions may be loosened. Follow-up communications and notifications will be sent beginning November 9th. If you have any questions, please reach out via the talk page. Outcomes
[edit]Please check out the results of our post-event evaluation on our evaluation report page!
Of note, we found that 71% of participants reported increased confidence in their mastery of every one of the training's core skills. Almost all (94%) participants intend to lead a training in the near future, and the majority (82%) intend to lead a similar training-of-trainers.
We will follow-up with these participant again, six months after completion to see what they are up to and how they are using the skills they gained.
