Non-enforcement on en-wp

Hello. I'm sorry to trouble you, but I could really use some help. I believe you are a sysop, and I saw that you recently read these evidence-free allegations without suggesting they be redacted. In that diff, Snooganssnoogans make an entire string of allegations against me, each falser than the next. Two are easily disproved, others would require proving I never said something they claim I have said (rather conveniently, without providing any evidence)

For information, I would guess that the Snoog is upset because I rather obliquely mentioned their spinning (without citing them by name) in the first paragraph of Part One of "Wikipedia's Sources & Methods" on the Wikipediocracy blog. I became aware of their errors of judgment on that article and its associated talk page, while paying attention to the Arbcom / media spectacle surrounding the "British Politics" case. I was encouraged that the community recognized their "silliness" (stronger words are used in the RfC on the talk page) on that page for what it was.

If you put yourself in the shoes of the smeared, I hope you understand how I could find it shameful that such an assertion could be made without the first crumb of evidence or even a notification. Maybe you'd even understand my shock that an admin could let such behavior pass without comment. Perhaps it bothered you, but since you didn't know what it was all about you let a bit of toxicity slide... But please, be aware that insofar as I have no right of reply on en-wp and given that Snoog does not participate in the larger wikimedia community, I cannot respond to their accusations directly. If they wish to make such claims, with linked evidence of any claims they make, they would be more than welcome to. (They can't, because their claims are false, but that's not the point here...) I would *not* encourage you to suggest to them that they make baseless accusations on my talk page here or as a comment on the Wikipediocracy article which appears to have set them off.

Allowing users to misuse en-wp as a safe-space in which to smear others without risk of rebuttal should not be encouraged.

What would you do in this situation? Would you contact the admin who witnessed the aspersions being cast as I have done or would you just go directly to ArbCom?
