Test Wiki

I don't suppose anyone actually comes here...why is the test wiki down? Brianjd 10:44, 2005 Jan 29 (UTC)

The normal test site is http://test.wikipedia.org/. What is http://test.wikimedia.org/? Brianjd 02:58, 2005 Feb 8 (UTC)

Test wiki was closed. Its closing was announced on mailinglist (if I recall correctly wikitech-l and foundation-l) .
What happened to the test feature described on Article validation feature?

Sub pages

While archiving months to individual sub pages (when the time comes for archiving) is a good thing, having new items added to sub pages is a bad thing. As it is now, goings-on will only get bumped in editors's watchlists when a new month is started. I'm going to change it back. Please discuss here before making a change that radical. —Ben Brockert < 00:49, 11 Feb 2005 (UTC)

Sorry perhaps it was I. Your comment has right. The current month would be better to write directly on the page, though problems of attribution of authors arises here (no one care? If so, it's ok). --Aphaia | WQ2翻訳中 | talk 15:46, 25 Feb 2005 (UTC)

How come nobody seems interested in this? Brianjd 02:55, 2005 Feb 17 (UTC)

WikiLyrics??

Okay, this might sounds like another stupid idea but what about a lyrics dbase based upon the WikiMedia-database???

Since lyrics are not hard to find, and WikiMedia is a non-ad/popup website what about it?? This will increase the amount of population, not by millions though but certainly by thousands...

We have already Wikisource, free archive of public domain text, including some lyrics. Thanks. --Aphaia | WQ2翻訳中 | talk 15:46, 25 Feb 2005 (UTC)

Lyrics wiki already exist. It's called Lyriki and can be found here.

My table namespace proposal

1. I'm confused about where the meta version of the village pump/proposals page is. I guess the whole thing is a vast discussion thing, but I still don't know exactly where to put a request like #2:

2. I would like my en:Wikipedia:Proposal for intuitive table editor and namespace to get more comments and more attention. Like moving it to meta and putting a link on the goings-on page or something. What is the best way to do this? - Omegatron 21:22, 15 Mar 2005 (UTC)
