Capacity development for underrepresented communities

Capacity development for underrepresented communities (CDUC) was a project aimed at reaching out to underrepresented communities in order to get them involved in the Wikimedia movement. It involved working with two types of underrepresented communities: 1) speakers of endangered minority languages and 2) users of sign languages. Of the first type, the project covered the Aromanian-speaking and Romani-speaking communities in Macedonia; and of the second type, it engaged people with hearing loss in Macedonia who use the Macedonian Sign Language. The project run in the period from 1 June 2022 to 31 January 2023 and consisted of three phases:
