DescriptionWikipedia reading dwell time analysis --- Marginal effects plot for model 3v2 --- Long times removed.png
English: This chart shows how reading times predicted by a regression model change as the development level of the country changes. This model (model 3v2) includes an interaction between mobile and whether the view is the last in a session in an attempt to account differences in behavior. This term improved the fit and predictive performance of the model, but it also lead to a change in conclusions. Including the term reveals that, once we statistically account for the last-in-session variable, that the "device gap" appears to vanish, at least in developed countries. As non-mobile readers actually dwell on pages for less time than mobile readers. In this version of the model, longer dwell times have been removed, but this does not much change the qualitative interpretation of the plot.
