English: The refectory of Rakvere castle (Latin refectorium) in Estonia, which was the joint dining hall of the knight brothers. Since the order's rules demanded an orderly common life, meals took place in the refectory at specific times. The refectory was also a ceremonial meeting room and was usually located in the south wing of the building. Even today, feasts are held in the refectory with dishes prepared in the kitchen of the Schenkenberg tavern according to medieval recipes. Rakvere castle is now part of Museums of Virumaa.
