Summary

Description
English: :This recording was made during a thru-hike of the Alta Via 1, where I noted and eBirded all birds seen and heard for the 12-day hike through the Dolomites. This is probably a very, very common species! And in fact I heard this repeated "veet" call very often, but I am an American, unfamiliar with the local birds, and I never could get a look at the bird making this vocalization. In this recording two individuals are calling, one closer and clearer, the other farther away. This was a typical vocalization scenario for this sound, where there would be 1-3 of this species, well-separated, all calling. In this particular recording the habitat was an alpine meadow with areas of dwarf mugho pine.
