| Description |
English: :Multiple birds (at least 3, probably 4) low in a pine tree (10-15' off ground, one was on the ground at one point, one flew off into higher trees nearby). Suburban bike trail. Saw several birds but was looking into the sun so it was hard to ID them visually. Large, probably larger than a crow. Dark head and back, lighter chest. They were in the same place for over 30 minutes (we walked past them on the trail, then walked back later they were still vocalizing). This sample is a concatenation of three recordings taken over an 8 minute interval. I am guessing Cooper's Hawk juveniles, but not certain.
