As in the case of the other transatlantic liners havingship-to-shore connections with North America, these shipswhile at sea will be able to reach all Bell System telephonesin the United States, as well as those connecting with theSystem in Canada, Mexico, and Cuba. The same schedule ofcharges will prevail, namely, $9 for a three-minute call to NewYork and vicinity while within 500 miles of that port, and $18 289 BELL TELEPHONE QUARTERLY when connections are established when the vessel is furtherout at sea.
