English: :Goshawk nest. Same location than XC418039, 4 days later. The chicks have more brown than white feathers and have become very vocal.

The female and the male were on the ground when I entered the area. They chased each other and disappeared in the canopy. Two chicks in the nest in a spruce (Picea abies) can be heard throughout uttering begging calls. An adult can be heard at 1:14.

At 18:41, the female delivered prey to the nest. The female and the 2 chicks ate the prey together. After 4 minutes, the female left the nest, while the chicks continued eating.

At 18:51, the female landed on a chestnut tree (Aesculus hippocastanum) 7 m. from me. She made 2 series of kek-kek-kek calls followed by a wailing call (XC418824). She flew off at 19:07.

After that, I left the area but the adults were active above and around the nest.
